Tennessee Child Support

In  Tennessee child support is determined by the Tennessee Child Support Guidelines.  Child support is calculated by using the income of both parents, number of days that the child or children stay with each parent, work related daycare, and health insurance.  Each parent will be accessed a proportionate (percentage) share of the overall child support obligation.  The parent who has the child the least time (alternate residential parent) will be required to pay the presumptive child support amount to the primary residential parent.
